Hexodic is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad today — version 1.0.1, free to download. The full rules engine and all seven bot tiers run on-device — no account, no sign-in, no connection required to play the bots. Free to play, with one optional one-time Premium purchase that removes ads.
Online play: what exists today
Online play is not live today. Invited online play existed in the web version of Hexodic, which was retired on 2026-10-17. Online ranked play in the mobile apps is not something this site promises yet, so this page will not call it “live” until it ships there.
The web version: retired for now
The web version of Hexodic was retired on 2026-10-17: it needs serious work before we present it as live again. A reworked web version is planned, with no date promised. Until it returns, Hexodic is played in the mobile apps — get the app.
Bots: what exists today
Hexodic’s seven on-device bot tiers are shipped, and CL3O, the learning bot, is shipped: a scheduled daily job runs a self-play weight search and promotes a new generation only when it passes a statistical gate against the version already served. CL3O explains the mechanism. National bots are not shipped; they are the vision described next.
Vision: national bots
This is the part we’re most excited about, and it has not shipped — read it as intent, not inventory.
Every country gets a bot — trained by its own players’ games, playing in the style its own player base taught it, representing them in a standing competition between nations.
Your games already carry an optional, region-level country tag (and nothing finer) so that a national training pipeline is possible someday. The framing we’re committed to: national bots would play for their countries, not against their neighbors — representation, not rivalry. When there’s something real to show here, its label moves up the list below — VISION, then IN-FLIGHT, then SHIPPED — in that order and no faster.
