## Current status: not yet in production

hexodic's physical edition is engineered and costed but **not manufactured**. No tooling has been
cut. This page exists so the terms are on the record and so a shop can register interest with a
real order sheet rather than an email that gets lost — not because stock is sitting in a
warehouse.

**No order placed today will be fulfilled today.** A purchase order sent now is a statement of
interest at a stated quantity, which is genuinely useful: demonstrated demand is what unlocks a
production run, and it is the thing this project does not yet have.

## Discount structure

These follow the standard the hobby trade already uses, so there are no surprises in either
direction:

| Buying as | Discount off MSRP | You pay |
|---|---|---|
| Distributor | 60–65% | 35–40% of MSRP |
| Retailer, direct from us | 45–50% | 50–55% of MSRP |

Retailers buying direct pay more than a distributor and get a shorter chain; distributors take a
deeper discount and carry the warehousing and the retail relationships. Both are normal.

**Returns.** There are none. A shop that stocks a title which does not sell is stuck with it, and
that is true across the trade — it is why we would rather you order a small first quantity that
sells through than a large one that sits. Order shallow, reorder often.

## Minimums and lead time

- **Retailer direct:** 6 units minimum, in multiples of 6.
- **Distributor:** by discussion — quantities at that level change the manufacturing decision
  itself rather than fitting inside it.
- **Lead time:** from a cut tool, roughly 4–6 weeks manufacturing plus 4–6 weeks ocean freight.
  From a standing start with no tooling, add the tool: 2–4 weeks for aluminium bridge tooling,
  6–12 weeks for steel.

Those are honest ranges, not promises. Until a moulder is engaged and a tool exists, every date
is an estimate.

## Purchase order

discount you select, and prints or saves as PDF. Nothing is transmitted anywhere — you send the
finished sheet yourself, to the address printed on it.
